Right Here--Right Now--Everything Music
David Cassidy, Joe Cocker, America, Peter Frampton, and countless others have all experienced the bittersweet taste of being underappreciated. These artists, each with their unique sound and style, have left an indelible mark on the music scene but have not received the recognition they truly deserve.
In the vast landscape of the music industry, some artists have managed to captivate the world with their exceptional talent and achieve legendary status. However, there are countless others who have slipped through the cracks of recognition, despite possessing immense skill and creativity. Today, we shed light on these unsung heroes, whose contributions have often been overlooked by the mainstream.
In the year 1970, the music industry had established itself as a dominant and influential entity. Surpassing even the realms of television and movies, it reigned supreme as the number one entertainment industry, generating substantial profits. However, behind this glossy façade lurked a dark underbelly of corruption and complacency. The industry had grown bloated, neglecting the talented artists who paved the way for its success.
And--in a digital era brimming with aspiring musicians attempting to make their mark, one might wonder how established artists from the 1970s can captivate today's audience and successfully promote their albums. The internet, a vast ocean of creativity, presents challenges for these timeless legends. However, by embracing innovative strategies and harnessing the power of nostalgia, these artists can reconnect with their loyal fans while captivating a new generation of music enthusiasts.
When musical trends come and go, it's crucial to honor and preserve the legacies of talented artists whose contributions have shaped our culture. HSTM (Help Save The Music) recognizes the significance of these artists and is dedicated to ensuring that their music remains known and heard by current and future generations. Through their innovative approach, HSTM is bridging the gap between past and present, celebrating the timeless impact of these musical pioneers.
HTMS's primary focus is providing financial assistance to aging musicians and aspiring newcomers who are facing financial challenges.
These musicians have created the sound track of our lives and deserve our help in return. HSTM works with The Sweet Relief Music Fund, sweetrelief.org to give struggling musicians a place to live, put food on the table, and instruments in their hands. Sweet Relief provides services and financial assistance for all types of career musicians and music industry professionals. Grant recipients include recording artists, club and session musicians, composers & songwriters from across the country, road crew, agents, managers and many others. They have aided people suffering from a wide range of conditions. Financial grants are paid directly to medical providers, hospitals, and other third party entities.
You can click on the Donate button at the top of each page throughout our website or click right HERE to make a donation. Every amount, big or small, goes to help artists in need. The Sweet Relief Fund is a 501 3c non-profit organization just like HSTM, which means all the money is regulated by the IRS and does not end up in the wrong hands.
