The book,  "James Cagney Was My Babysitter" is a book about the day Ryan Cassidy's dad, the late Jack Cassidy, took him to stay with James Cagney for the afternoon. Ryan was extremely shy and a bit scared to stay with someone he did not know. The story leads the reader into a magical world bestowed upon a young Ryan Cassidy. Cagney creates a loving and warm imaginary world that brings Ryan out of his shell and creates a lifelong bond between them.
