MEET THE TEAM

Help Save The Music is a 501 c3 non-profit organization. Julie and Lisa are hardworking individuals helping to preserve the legacy of music legends of the 20th century. Our goal is to provide support for these musicians and bands from a time when music meant everything to everyone one of us. We will provide links to their websites when available and review concerts to give you current information on how they are doing. There are a lot of bands that are doing farewell tours this year, and we want to make sure we do not lose touch with them before they retire from the music industry.

Mrs. Julie Correll is a Rock and Roll journalist for Spill Magazine and is with the United States Press Agency. Her most recent live coverage was the Ann Wilson concert at Nashville, Indiana during her 2023 tour.  Julie has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Graphics and a Master's in Communications from Purdue University. Julie has worked as a Public Relations Coordinator, which included working with the press and providing social media content for over 25 years.  Julie is a professional  photographer and artist. She also has a passion for  creating and developing music videos.  Julie is dedicated to making sure good quality music and talented artists find their  rightful place in our history. Lisa Owens
Assistant Director

Mrs. Lisa Owens was raised in Sevier County Tennessee, home of Dolly Parton. Lisa has always been a big music enthusiast. Lisa is a content video creator for the Let's Talk Music YouTube channel. She also generates content for all the Help Save The Music social media platforms. Lisa is an entrepreneur and a very talented professional photographer, and Digital Creator.  She is also quite the music historian coupled with her love for music makes her exceedingly valuable to our organization. Mrs. Owens also runs the HSTM blog. Lisa can help you with any questions you may have just send her an email and visit her YouTube channel.
